About The Lack Of Time For Trading.

I have a small group, a very small group, of people who approached me asking to learn trading. They are going through a really challenging program, challenging in all aspects, requiring a lot of time and effort. I don’t know how to acquire the necessary skills easily and quickly. Well, I don’t know how to teach these simple things quickly. Actually, when you already have these skills, it’s easy and quick, but teaching them is a challenge.
This morning started with two messages. Let me paraphrase what I understood.
The first message: “I can’t keep up with everything, so I have to ask several times. I’m sorry, but I’ll ask this again, and maybe I’ll come back with another question. Sorry if I’m repeating, but my schedule is crazy.”
The second message: “I can’t keep up with everything. Too little free time. I’ll probably quit.”
The common thread in these two messages is a lack of time and not being able to keep up. You know, I also have little time and can’t keep up with everything. And most importantly, I don’t want to change that. It’s great when you have little time. The whole question is about time management, but there’s always something for you to do.
Imagine the situation the other way around: you have plenty of time, but it’s not needed by anyone, not even by you. Therefore, engaging in something is not a matter of time; it’s a matter of your interest. If you’re interested, then engage. Don’t be afraid that you’re not keeping up. Fear the time when you find it uninteresting, and that can happen too. Interest needs to be nourished from within. So, working under constant pressure is not so bad, especially when you can regulate that pressure yourself.
I’ll conclude with a quote that was sent to me in the group in response to this message: “Everyone who came should take your course. If someone resists, it means they don’t need it. Based on this, they find 150 reasons why they don’t do it, but the reasons are really only in ourselves. We are afraid to change, to try something new. Unfortunately, not everyone can step out of their comfort zone.”
In my opinion, trading is at the forefront among other human activities as a tool for self-improvement. What you choose is up to you. You have a chance; make sure you don’t end up regretting not taking advantage of it.
